This photo shows the window removed from the door along with the molding. Allowing access to the edges of the window. The window is then disassembled from the outside edge towards the center to remove all the damaged pieces. Templates are then taken of the damaged pieces and glass to match color/texture is cut. The window is then reassembled from the inside to the outside edge and repaired for reinstallation. |

This is the finished product. From an unsightly damaged door to completely repaired in 2 to 3 hours without the windows ever leaving your property. |
| The Light Benders Inc. was recently awarded the contract to remove, restore and re-install, the wonderful Kachina window located outside of the Glendale Visitors Center at 5800 West Glenn, Glendale. The window was severely damaged in the hail storm in October of 2010. The window itself is 30 feet high to the top, and 10 feet wide, built in an arc. It is comprised of 25 seperate pieces, which have been removed and taken back to our studio. There we will begin the painstaking process of dismanteling the individual panels and replacing each broken piece, before finally re-installing them, returning the window to it's former glory. |
